God-realisation vs. hallucination

Day 957
The actions of many ordinary men [despite their claims] prove that they are not enlightened. Their intellect [buddhi] is still dull, like many people who take drugs. They say, 'I saw Krishna. I saw Buddha. Oh, I got enlightenment.' But even twenty five years after 'seeing' that Buddha, nothing has changed in their lives. Now that kind of 'realisation' is in fact hallucination. It is called? Hallucination. It's not realisation.
That [genuine] realisation when it comes, your face will shine, you are a spark of divinity – when you talk it'll be the scriptures. When you speak, scriptures will come out of your mouth without you even reading the scriptures.
It happened in the life of Sri Ramakrishna. That is why you can't doubt Ramakrishna in any way because Ramakrishna was not a learned pundit [pandit]. You cannot doubt Jesus the Christ because Jesus Christ was not a learned scholar. They [Ramakrishna and Jesus] just spoke. They didn't write and when they spoke, they spoke scriptures. And when [the religious experts] compared it back to the scriptures, they found it was in the scriptures, without the man reading the scriptures. So they were speaking from the soul [atman].
The others speak from the intellect or the mind because they read it, they think about it and they write, 'Buddha says…' That's only hearsay. Jesus Christ – can you doubt him? You can't doubt him. You can't doubt Jesus. He never wrote a book. He just spoke – simply, too. Not flowery language. Natural.
