Sri Krishna said, 'O Arjuna [His disciple], fight, fight for dharma. If you die for dharma [righteousness] you will go to heaven, and if you win for dharma you will have name and fame on this Earth. O Arjuna, if you reject name and fame and heaven and do it for My sake, for the love of Me, you will come to Me, you will become one with Me.'
Wherever you go, spread the name of Sri Ramakrishna. With enthusiasm plant dharma, which is unity and love, in all hearts. If people give you hatred, be indifferent, give them love. If people criticise you, ignore the criticism, praise God and praise God in them. With this you will find that your strength will grow by leaps and bounds. You are the message bearer, you are the Hanuman, you are the Garuda, you are the Nandi, you are the swan – Hamsa, to carry the great gods and goddesses of knowledge to the masses.
You should take a vow as you leave this place that you will spread Sri Ramakrishna's name, as Hanumanji spread Sri Rama's name. Otherwise you are not worthy to be called a child of the Rishis [Sage-Seers-Saints].
An ancient saying is:
Love, love, love even thy enemy.
And though he hate thee as a thorn,
thou wilt blossom as a rose.
The Vedas are not studied for avoiding evil and attaining good; they are for realising Brahman.
Think of your Deity; think of his power; of what he did. Then his power will become your power.
