Daily Reading 30. Swamiji speaks about Consciousness.

Taken from Mother Radha’s notes, written at Swamiji’s feet.
When you say the shanti mantra, concentrate on peace – because peace is needed. The more we focus the restless mind on peace the better. We must practise what we learn. Think what you can do for your own ashram.
Ganesha’s prayer is very important.
An Excerpt from Meditation and Spiritual Life by Swami Yatiswarananda: Without the senses
we will not know what is truth and what is untruth. The senses are God’s grace. The senses are fruit. All holy personalities are a special manifestation of the Supreme Spirit. When we come to worship Christ we will come to have Christ Consciousness; when we worship Ramakrishna we will have Ramakrishna Consciousness.
Swamiji: This leads to Absolute Consciousness. All these Great Ones realised their identity with the Absolute. There is not just one saviour for all – that is a pernicious idea.
Reading: The Divine Immanence is in all creation. Saguna Brahman is as important as Nirguna Brahman – for many people first realise the Divine outside themselves, and then in others – then finally transcend all names and forms and realise the One without a second.
The dream cat is real for you, it drinks milk. Only when you are awake you know it is a dream. Only when you are [God] realised do you realise that all personalities are projections of the One Absolute.
Swamiji repeats: If you worship Christ it leads to Christ Consciousness. If you worship Krishna it leads to Krishna Consciousness. If you worship Ramakrishna it leads to Ramakrishna Consciousness.
