Talks Excerpt 300. Swamiji says: God thoughts are a golden chain to climb to God.

From Mother Radha’s notes, written at Swamiji’s feet.
Remember, you are God and you are free.
The soul has no eyes but it sees, it has no nose but it breathes.
Worship is your path to God. You will gradually remember who you are.
There are worldly eyes and godly eyes. Thoughts are worldly or godly. When we criticise others, we see wrongly. When we see all perfect, it is beautiful, lovely, godly.
A thought arises and you either ignore it or you say, ‘God, this is your instrument, your thoughts, your senses. This is the fruit of your tree, I offer it back to thee.’
God-thoughts are a golden chain to climb to God. If you think worldly thoughts, they bind you to the earth. The mind has to be calm, pure, before you see this.
Lord Krishna says there are three gates to hell: lust, anger and greed. Lust includes desire.
Greed is seen when Ravana desired Rama’s wife. This was greed as he already had so many wives.
Anger and pride go together. Ravana was angry because he was thwarted from making Sita his own. Therefore he did not accept Rama’s offers of peace.
If I want something, I say, ‘What is this, [Divine] Ma? Do you want some so-and-so (any food item)? If so I will eat it for you.’
Suppression is when you want something but hide from it and pretend it is not there. Then it comes back.
See, but do not judge. What has it to do with you what others do or are?
