Talks Excerpt 335. Swamiji: Faith makes you strong.

From Mother Radha’s notes, written at Swamiji’s feet.
Repeat God’s name sincerely.
Listen to the guru’s instructions.
Faith makes you strong. Be faithful in your spiritual practice [sadhana].
Go to the guru, you will return stronger, more developed and whole-hearted. Only the guru knows your destiny.
Do not doubt or calculate: this leads to evil.
The sun is in the sky but the sky is not touched by it. Similarly separate yourself from the body. Never feel ‘I am doing it.’ Or if you feel you are doing it, offer it to God, then it is His responsibility. If God is my strength, then how can I be weak? We need enlightened faith.
Ask and learn from the guru. Give service and have devotion to the guru.
How is your sadhana? As your day is, so your meditation is. In meditation, say, ‘OK mind, so you want to run everywhere? So run until you are tired.’
If God sits in front of you, how can you sing? Only by forgetting Him outside. See Him inside, as ‘I am’.
Find the ego, then it is gone. Nothing is left. All is perfection.
