Talks Excerpt 404. Swamiji says: Sri Ramakrishna is peerless [without comparison].

From Mother Radha’s notes, written at Swamiji’s feet.
After the realisation of Truth, a sadhaka [spiritual practitioner] does not turn into a hard-hearted being with a heart of stone. No, he becomes full of compassion and serves the whole world. They say that jivan muktas serve themselves as the world. That is why Sri Ramakrishna said to Swami Vivekananda: ‘I thought you would be like a great banyan tree, giving shelter to the whole world.’
[After repeating Om Namo Bhagavate Ramakrishnaya 108 times [one round on a mala] Swamiji said]: Sri Ramakrishna is not as simple as he looks. Sri Ramakrishna was peerless [having no equal]. Peerless in his renunciation, peerless in his devotion, peerless in his purity. He fulfilled [Holy Mother] Sri Sarada Devi and made her his equal, made her peerless too. And the witness was Swami Vivekananda.
Sri Ramakrishna did all the [Tantric] sadhanas [spiritual practices] under Bhairavi Brahmani, and he did all the [Advaitic] sadhanas under Totapuri – and in a short time he realised the Absolute.
Master [Sri Ramakrishna] is not only the teacher of Bengal, or of India. He is the world teacher. That is why he is called Jagad Guru – World Teacher – Teacher of the Universe.
We must constantly think that Brahman is doing all this: eating this, walking here and there.
There is nothing but kicks in this world – no blows, just kicks – suffering. As a sadhaka you must endure.
You should get on with everyone. Try to be friendly and helpful.
