Swamiji speaks on Swami Vivekananda’s search for a Guru. And the modern-day ‘universality’ of Sri Ramakrishna’s teachings. Disc 143 track 3.

This is a spectacularly noisy original recording. But filled with magnificent insights into the nature of the Guru and in particular, the impact of Sri Ramakrishna’s teachings.
So, two audio clips are presented here. One having gone through two AI engines in an attempt to reduce echo and clarify, and a second one having been put through a voice isolator. Making for quite an odd sounding clip, but with a greater likelihood of you hearing specific, individual words.
We’re not transcribing it. By listening in a quiet place, you’ll genuinely get a far greater sense of context from the flow of words, and Swamiji’s intensity in relating how Sri Ramakrishna’s teachings of universality are echoing – and note the words Swamiji uses – not just throughout this world, but as Swamiji says, throughout ‘The Universe!’

These recordings were made from the 1970s onward, by Mother Radha, a close devotee of Swamiji’s and edited for uploading here by our gurubhai and her son, Brother Tim. Please be mindful that what Swamiji was saying may have been specific to an individual or a group of people with him, at the time.
