Swamiji’s Daily Talk excerpts number 163.

From Mother Radha’s notes, written at Swamiji’s feet.
The world is full of happiness and unhappiness – go beyond that.
Bliss is in everything; catch hold of that.
We are mature to the extent that we understand that there is not always happiness.
Keep the mind always at rest, then you are always happy – happiness is a state of deep rest, it is your natural state.
Be more ready to share than to grab.
The mantras of Master [Sri Ramakrishna], Mother [Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi] and Swami Vivekananda are power charged. They are not dead.
It is not enough to read – you must practise.
First know the divinity within, then everywhere.
Think of the Self – that is where thoughts come from.
Be like a flower in God’s vase; give beauty till you are finished. That energy is not lost.
Crucify the ego to make it pure, then offer it to God.
Melt the mind in God’s love – do it today.
If you think you are the body, you will treat others as the body. If you think you are God, you will treat others as God.
Say, ‘I love you, Lord,’ and feel it.
What you say is not so important – it’s what you think that is important.
Lust, anger and greed, and helpless dependence on others, leads to disintegration.
