Talk Excerpt 310. Swamiji: Fear is God, love is God, accident is God, laughter is God. All is He.

From Mother Radha’s notes, written at Swamiji’s feet.
‘Ya devi sarva bhuteshu, shanti rupina samsthita, namastasyai, namastasyai, namastasyai, namo namah.’ This means: Salutations again and again to the Devi who abides in all beings in the form of peace.
Fear is God, love is God, accident is God, laughter is God. All is He – just as fire is latent in wood, and friction brings it out and transforms it to ash. Tamas is Kali, rajas is Lakshmi, sattva is Saraswati.
Without eyes Brahman/God sees, without hands It works, without a tongue It speaks the scriptures, without a mind It knows.
Ask your shadow who you are, it will answer, ‘I am that I am.’ Have that as your goal. I sing a song, it is not separate from me. That which knows It, is the experiencer. ‘I am not this, not that, I am everything.’ Just as the sun is never in darkness ‘I and my Father are One‘.
These three things are necessary to improve your spiritual life:
1] What you eat should be easy to digest, easy to assimilate, and agreeable to the body.
2] Meditate morning and evening at a regular time and place.
3] The control of anger leads to egolessness. Do this through Karma Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Raja Yoga and Jnana Yoga.
Man has three parts. The body is gross, the mind is subtle, the intellect is causal.
In the waking state the mind is in the head, in dream state it is in the throat, and in the sleep state it is in the heart, the witness.
Brahman has no vibration. It is the One inside, and the many, outside.
Who is your guru? In the end the guru is your own Self – God within you. The whole world is your ashram. All this is only part of the world play.
There must be purity in thought, word and deed. Make sure every word you utter makes the other man (the listener) strong.

Please be mindful that what Swamiji was saying may have been specific to an individual or a group of people with him, at the time.
