Talk Excerpt 320. Swamiji: In a stone God sleeps, in plants He dreams, in man He is awake.

From Mother Radha’s notes, written at Swamiji’s feet.
We are seeds with plant potential inside us. It is the guru who awakens it.
Stop playing, you have played long enough.
For meditation the time is important, not the place – because where you are, your vibrations are.
Open the heart and you will be able to meditate.
Sri Krishna is described as blue and small because God looks like that from a distance. The ocean and the sky also look blue from a distance. But the true nature of God is neither blue nor small.
Sri Krishna is purusha and Srimati Radhika is his shakti, prakriti, primal power. This is the meaning of Yugala murti, where Krishna and Radhika are conjoined. This indicates that there is no difference.
His eyes are on her, and her eyes are on him. Her complexion is like lightening, golden. So too is Krishna’s garb. His complexion is blue, like a cloud, and so she wears a blue garb and sapphires. Both wear twinkling anklets. This shows they are complementary; they are in harmony. Develop this divine restlessness for God. Be like Radha. Just as a child feels the absence of its mother and cries, we must cry.
He [God] can definitely be seen.
In the scriptures it is said: In a stone God sleeps, in plants He dreams, in man He is awake.
The mind separates us. The Divine Mother is always the total sum of us all, but we seem only to be part of Her. To be one with Her, we have to be without name or form. We have to leave thought and form outside. Then it is all the same, there is no difference.
Rest in the Self.
