Talks Excerpt 346. Swamiji says: Guru here, happy. Guru not here, sad. When guru leaves body?

From Mother Radha’s notes, written at Swamiji’s feet.
All is God’s. There is no division. If you get something, it is from Him. If you give something, it is from Him. Even if you are forced to give, give it to Him.
If the world pulls you down, go back inside, meditate on God within.
I hope these words will ring in your head when I am gone, that you do not forget them. Remember the story of the porridge [made carelessly and therefore lumpy. Made with a little more attention – fewer lumps. Made with love and full attention, creamy and delicious.]
The sage tells me something, I know it is true and I add to it bit by bit. As you go deeper inside, more and more, so the Truth (God) will be revealed to you, and many other things, and you will begin to open up.
You do not know the Truth now, you just have glimpses of it, this is encouragement.
Your purity is only for the good of the guru.
If the guru is not here; you are sad. If the guru is here; you are happy. When the guru leaves the body, what then?
Sometimes when you want the guru urgently he is there; but when you are back in the world the urgency is gone. That is why you must keep going inside, must keep doing japa, must keep rolling the beads. All this helps us to be aware, to seek diligently.
Lying and stealing are selfishness.
If someone behaves strangely it is not your business. Look behind and see God. See It. God is in all, is all.
