Remembering our beloved Gurubhai, Sri Swami Premananda Puri on this mahasamadhi anniversary day.
Our beloved sannyasi gurubhai, Sri Swami Premananda Puri, head of the Sri Ramakrishna Dham in Lenasia, attained mahasamadhi on 3rd April 2020.
He was the first monastic disciple of our revered Guru, Swami Shivapadananda Puri, 2nd President and Spiritual Head of the Ramakrishna Centre of South Africa, who left the body in 1994.
We remember Premanandaji Maharaj, whom we first met in 1977, for his gentle, consistently loving nature, superb Sanskrit literacy, knowledge of the Hindu scriptures, wonderful singing voice and his dedication to the ideal of our stellar guru parampara, being Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, Swami Vivekananda, Swami Brahmananda, Swami Purushottamananda, Swami Nischalananda and Swami Shivapadananda.
We’ll see you again, beloved Bhaiji, as Papa promised. Loving pranams and big hugs from us all.
