Day 436
Take the words of the bhajan: Ramakrishna ke sharanam me awo. This is positive. Come to his feet. It is not saying half the glass is empty – but half the glass is full.
Ramakrishna ke sharanam me awo
Mana mandir ke dip jalao
Jivan naiya par lagao
Sada niraranjan hari gune gawo
Prema bhakti se bhajan sunawo
This means: Come to the feet of Sri Ramakrishna,
burn a light in the temple of the heart.
Taking us across the human ocean, eternally pure,
sing the glory of God.
Sing His praises with love and devotion,
and let others also hear it.
Prayer is awakened by the power of the soul.
Your best friend is your mind in quiet times. If the mind is negative, negative qualities come out. If the mind is positive then very positive qualities come out.
Satchidananda [Existence, Knowledge, Bliss Absolute], Satchidananda, Satchidananda. Let your whole life revolve around Satchidananda.
Expansion is life, contraction is death.
